San Francisco, Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco, CA, USA
About the event
Fisherman's wharf is more than tourist restaurants - take a short walking tour and learn how to buy live anchovies and local seafood straight from the fishing boats. Everyone will have a hands-on experience filleting them and will learn how to make salt and lemon preserved anchovies. Everyone leaves with anchovies! And if you purchase other fish from the boats, I'm happy to teach you how to fillet and break it down and use the bones and other parts. Bring a small cooler with ice if you plan on taking fresh anchovies or other fish home with you. It's advised for transporting your salted anchovies at well.
