About the event
Black cod are a local delicacy. They have long been prized in Japanese cuisine because the Japanese know good seafood. They are starting to gain fans in the US, which is well deserved. They are buttery, rich, delicious and nutritious. In this workshop with Greenling's fish market at Fishermen's Wharf, everyone will have their own fish to fillet - we'll demonstrate how to do it and help you through the process. And if you mess up, don't worry because we'll be providing you with a recipe for black cod, wild mushroom and miso chowder. Winter is going to be delicious.
