Culinary Mushroom Camp Salt Point

We will meet up and hike in the stunning forests of Salt Point, searching for signs of porcini, chanterelles, oyster, turkey tail and other culinary and medicial mushrooms. Finding mushrooms is not garunteed, but you will learn what trees the mushrooms grow with, and other habitat you should look for. Micheal will help you identify mushrooms you find, and using his skills as a professional chef, give tips on preparation.  This will be followed by mushroom centric grazing platter and tips on how to prepare various mushrooms. What you learn in this foray will help you take on the mushroom season with confidence.
