About the event
We will meet up and hike in the stunning forests in West Marin, searching for porcini, chanterelles, oyster, hedgehog turkey tail and other culinary and medicinal mushrooms. Finding mushrooms is not guaranteed, but you will learn what trees the mushrooms grow with, and other habitat you should look for. This will be followed by tasting board featuring wild mushrooms and bay laurel nuts.
