Dungeness Crab Camp

Dungeness crab is a deliciously, iconic favorite in San Francisco. In this adventure, you'll learn how to check for the right tides, find the places that are both legal to crab, and where you are likely to get them, which bait to use , how to tell whether they are female or male - the females get thrown back in, and how to measure them to make sure it's legal to keep them.  You'll get hands on experience cleaning and cooking - and of course eating Dungeness. We'll also talk favorite preparation tips and techniques. So come out and get salty and enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Ocean and the thrill of crabbing.
