About the event

You already know these trees. You've parked under them, walked past them, maybe climbed them as a kid. What you might not know is that bay laurel, pine, redwood, and a handful of others growing right outside your door are full of flavor, medicine, and possibility.

This class rewires how you see familiar landscapes. We'll explore leaves, bark, flowers, and fruits, learning to identify edible and useful species, harvest without harm, and understand what the canopy around us actually has to offer. It's part botany, part kitchen inspiration, and genuinely a little mind-bending once it clicks.

We'll taste as we go. By the end, the walk home will never look quite the same.
