We'll forage the property for porcini and other edible, have a truffle dog demonstration and short lesson for those people with dogs, and a mushroom and truffle tasting rustic brunch.

About the event
On Sunday morning we'll forage under nearby pine trees for porcini, queen boletes and other delicious edible mushrooms. Flora Jayne the mushroom hound will be there to demonstrate truffle hunting and Maria will tell about the fascinating history of these underground tubers. If participants have truffle curious dogs, we can do a short training lesson.
Following the forage we'll have a mushroom cooking demonstration class and truffle tasting. Then we'll enjoy a late, rustic brunch on the Fort Ross Lodge grounds.
