About the event
For just a few weeks each summer, huckleberries ripen in secret pockets of the forest and in Fog Mushrooms and Huckleberry Harvest , participants are guided to these hidden places. Alongside a seasoned forager, they’ll learn to identify huckleberries, explore their health benefits and folklore, and practice ethical harvesting in the wild. While huckleberries take center stage, other seasonal berries may make an appearance and are also fair game for the basket. This rare experience blends the joy of gathering with the pleasure of tasting, available only for a limited time each year.
