Lost in the Woods Fungi-Centric Dinner

Lost in the Woods – An interactive dinner party for the fungi curious and obsessed.

Prior to dinner, you’ll receive the address where the dinner will take place and the prompt based on “Lost in the Woods.”

Drinks and appetizers

Wild mushroom grazing platters featuring, but not limited to

Black trumpet mushroom, wild leek, za’atar and feta and fresh oregano flatbreads

Morel and chicken liver pâté with seed and nut bread

Mélange of wild, feral and tame pickles, fruit and nuts

Dinner 6:30

Salad of miner’s lettuce, wild arugula, lollo rosso lettuce, wild radish blossoms, pickled shallots, and kumquats in a lemon vinaigrette.

Seared Stemple Creek Ranch flatiron steaks or local black cod finished with Perigord truffle butter, served with brown butter orzo pasta with pecorino Romano cheese and shaved black truffle and sauteed pea shoots with lemon zest.

Dessert: Candy Cap mushroom crème brule with salt and ume preserved Sakura cherry blossoms
