Join us for a springtime forage on stunning Mt. Shasta to find morels and porcini. Shasta is a perfect environment for morels due to its high altitude, multiple burn zones and melting snowcap. And it's also a hot spot for spring porcini and butter boletes.

About the event
Guide Mike Colosimo has been following morels, porcini and butter boletes on Mt. Shasta for years. We have options so you can join for one day, or two. The Flora & Fungi team will be camping on the mountain. If you wish to camp with us and have a campfire dinner on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday, you are welcome to. We ask for an additional $125.00 to help us cover our costs. (No camping equipment provided, but we will have delicious food, coffee, and the special water from the Sacramento River Headwaters on Mt. Shasta.).
There are many camp sites, hotels and airbnb's in the Shasta area, so you can find one that fits your budget and standards if you don't want to camp. So come north and pick delicious mushrooms!
