About the event
Come out for a day in the beautiful foothills and explore the fire burn zones. But it’s about more than just finding mushrooms. It’s an invitation to rediscover nature and understand how a forest regenerates after a fire. You'll also foster a deeper connection with our surroundings. You’ll learn more about the forest ecosystem, its inhabitants, and the vital role fungi plays within it. Participants also love the opportunity to meet and connect with other fungal enthusiasts who have a deep love and appreciation for the natural world.
We may find spring porcini's as well!
