About the event
Join Flora & Fungi Adventures and the di Rosa Center for Contemporary Arts for a mushroom foraging adventure on the stunning di Rosa grounds. We’ll wander through oak savannah habitat in search of edible and fascinating fungi, learning the fundamentals of mushroom identification, culinary safety, environmental stewardship, and ethical foraging along the way.
Our walk will also include time with the outdoor sculpture collection, offering context on Northern California artists and how art and landscape intersect in this remarkable setting.
The experience concludes with a generous wild food grazing platter featuring smoked and pickled mushrooms, mushroom pâté, pine cone syrup drizzled over local brie, and charcuterie with quince and candy cap mostarda.
