About the event
Having composed your own perfume in a previous session, you’ll begin with something new: a clearer sense of what worked, what surprised you, and where you might take your next composition.
Jennifer’s approach blends natural history with sensory art. With her deep knowledge of West Coast flora, pollinators, and wild ecology—and access to her perfume lab filled with rare and beautiful materials—she’ll introduce an expanded palette and guide you as you blend with greater freedom and intention. Revisit your original idea or begin with a new memory, mood, or place, experimenting with unfamiliar materials and making more of the compositional decisions yourself.
Each participant will leave with a new custom perfume and a deeper understanding of how scent develops, how materials work together, and how fragrance can connect us to memory, place, and the more-than-human world.
