At low tide, Muir Beach is rich with nori, kombu and other delicious seaweed. Learn to identify and ethically harvest these. This will be followed by a light seaweed-centric brunch.

About the event
We'll gather on low tide and learn about the role of seaweed in the ecoystem, how to identify the most delicious types like nori, kombu, bladderwrack and wakeme. Participants will learn about ethical foraging, how to clean and store seaweed. We talk about ways to prepare it and have a light seaweed centric brunch.
This ticket includes foraging and brunch. Details will be sent out one week before the event.
