About the event
Led by the passionate marine biologist Starlynn Hartnek, whose heart beats in rhythm with the ocean’s pulse, and Ambre Arneodau, a seasoned forager whose knowledge spans both land and sea, this adventure offers a deep dive into the wonders of coastal life.
With their guidance, you will discover how to identify seaweeds and the proper way to ethically harvest mussels before gathering around a glowing beachside fire. There, you will prepare and savor a meal rooted in the wild, accompanied by handcrafted snacks and drinks made from foraged ingredients, each bite echoing the ocean’s timeless song.
For this workshop, you'll need a one day or seasonal fishing license if you want to collect mussels. If not, you are welcome to watch us collect and help us clean them and join in prepping and eating them.
