About the event
Join us for an immersive 2 hour coastal foraging experience where you’ll learn to identify edible seaweeds, practice ethical mussel harvesting, and gather around a live beach fire to cook and taste wild coastal foods. You’ll leave with mussels to take home, practical shoreline skills you can use again and again, and a clearer understanding of how to forage safely and responsibly on the coast.
A one-day or seasonal fishing license is required if you wish to harvest mussels. If not, you’re welcome to observe, help clean, cook, and fully take part in the tasting.
