About the event
Step into berry season with Flora & Fungi and discover the sweet, tart, and medicinal treasures growing all around us. In this immersive workshop, we’ll explore native and naturalized berries of Northern California, you'll learn how to identify them, forage responsibly, and understand their role in local ecosystems and traditional foodways.
We’ll cover both well-loved and lesser-known varieties, think huckleberry, thimbleberry, manzanita, elderberry, native blackberry, and beyond.
The experience culminates in a wild berry centric tasting board.
Whether you're a budding forager or lifelong nature lover, this class offers a delicious invitation to slow down, look closer, and fall in love with the land one berry at a time.
