About the event
Spend four days and three nights on a fungi-deep dive at Camp Ernest in the beautiful Sierra Foothills. You'll learn to identify and forage culinary and medicinal mushrooms in the local woods. Speakers will cover everything from the wondrous world of mushrooms in the wild and permaculture and the lure of truffles to the star-filled skies overhead. Flora Jayne and I will lead truffle hunting demonstrations and there will be a truffle dinner. In fact, every meal will feature delicious wild fungi.
Camp Ernest grew out of Good People dinner series, where speakers and chefs collaborate to bring people together to help usher in positive change in our world. The magical world of mycelium is a perfect fit for this forum. It also has an amazing sauna.
