Let nature inspire you to wildcraft custom pieces of jewelry or adornment for your home. You'll take a hike to gather materials and inspiration and then work with designer and jewelry maker Anna Monet.

About the event
Think of this class as a storytelling through natural materials exercise. We'll hike along the only remaining natural stream in San Francisco, listen to owls, learn about trees, and explore edible plants. And then we'll gather for a wildcrafted grazing platter and beverages and learn techniques like wire wrapping, weaving and binding and surface painint or pigment rubbing to create wearble art pieces, talisman, or objects for your home.
The hike will be led by Maria and the wildcrafting by Anna Monet. Anna is the founder of Anna Monet Jewelry, where she uses natural materials to create jewelry collections. She has made work for Cooper Hewitt Museum in NYC, and has collaborated with the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum to create a custom collection inspired by the colors of the Georgia O’Keeffe home in Abiqui, NM.
