About the event
We - all living creatures on earth - are interconnected. This experience draws inspiration from wild salmon’s remarkable life cycle and their symbiotic relationship with the mighty redwood, as well as the tradition of “Circumambulation of Mt. Tam.”
This curated dinner event will feature a contemplative hike in through the Mt Tam woods, followed by a ritual of connection through audio, food, and dance at Alice Eastwood campground, and an opportunity to not only learn about the rich lives and ecosystems of salmon and redwoods but to deeply understand our interconnection with them.
Dinner will prominently feature local California King salmon along with foods inspired by the forest landscape. Gluten free and other dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
We will provide synchronized headphones for the audio portion of the ritual as well as the silent disco after dinner.
The hiking portion will be roughly 3 miles total. We can accommodate people who cannot hike and would like to attend the dinner.
This event is in collaboration with Tre Balchowsky of Odd Salon.
Please note the different ticket prices - it is the same experience but we want to make it affordable for those who can't pay $125.00. So if you can pay the full amount, please do and know that you are helping someone else attend who can't pay that amount.
